Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is hiring a Utility Technician to join the field team. You will perform installation, maintenance and repair of valves, meters, gauges and pumps, and support customer service efforts while ensuring safety and efficiency on every site.

We seek a reliable team player with a high school diploma or GED, capable of using MS Office and reading meters. CDL permit must be obtained within 90 days of hire; travel to various worksites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required though mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• CDL permit must be attained within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform installation, maintenance and repair of valves, meters, gauges and pumps in water/wastewater systems.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Load/unload equipment and supplies; travel to worksites as needed.
• Read meters and update documentation of work orders in our system.
• Support housekeeping and other tasks as assigned.
