We are looking for a collaborator with a strong strategic understanding to help implement Volvo Group’s sustainability and electrification agenda within the Chassis Vehicle Dynamics Department. Join us and make a difference!

Your future team – Sealings & Suspensions

You will join a passionate and engaged team located in Göteborg, Sweden, and Lyon, France, where collaboration, strategic thinking, and feedback culture are key pillars.

We work closely with global stakeholders in a cross-functional environment and believe we are here to make a difference and shape the world we want to live in.

Based in Gothenburg or Lyon, Your Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive commercial negotiations with suppliers
  • Identify, mitigate, and monitor risks
  • Optimize product performance in quality, delivery, cost, features, innovation, sustainability, and risk management (QDCFTSR) during sourcing/project and operational phases
  • Propose and promote ideas to reduce the CO2 footprint of our supply chain
  • Generate cost reduction ideas through deep dive and portfolio analysis
  • Lead cross-functional work with engineering, logistics, and manufacturing teams
  • Contribute to team development by sharing ideas, supporting peers, and requesting support when needed
  • Contribute to segment strategy for resilient and sustainable purchasing, engaging global stakeholders and traveling as needed
