Opportunity for Senior Commercial Manager

Due to growth within the Major Projects sector, we have an opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to join us and get involved in innovative projects that present creative and technical challenges. Role Overview

The appointed Commercial Manager will oversee project operations and ensure that the company's commercial activities align with its strategic objectives. The role requires managing a broader commercial team and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners is essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review contract change control processes to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
2. Prepare payment applications and final accounts.
3. Liaise with legal and corporate commercial services regarding policies, insurance bonds, and guarantees.
4. Ensure the commercial delivery of EPC projects with increased efficiencies, cost savings, and margin optimization.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong understanding of financial statements and metrics.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage resources.
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including financial forecasting and risk management.
• Degree in BSc Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying, with EPC project experience.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire and manage teams.
