A leading luxury house in Paris seeks a Senior Collection Merchandiser to ensure a balanced product portfolio and drive sales. WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Senior Collection Merchandiser your main contribution will be to ensure a balanced product portfolio that drives sales, secures brand identity and relevance within the industry. You will report to the Head of Collection Merchandising. You will play a vital role in securing commercial viability in all geographical areas by:
·Create, update and share range plan framework in line with seasonal targets and drop planning for seasonal collections including special projects
·Continuous follow-up on range plan versus collection plan in order to deliver dynamic and focused product portfolio
·Translate the creative vision into commercial potential
·Research and compile market data, benchmark product offer and price positioning
·Analyse weekly sales reports in order to detect risks and propose relevant adaptations of the range plan
·Create sales overviews, collection guidelines and share with relevant teams
·Review collection range, participate in collection edit and present collections to internal stakeholders
·Ensure balanced communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners internally

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:
·Academic degree from fashion and/or business education
·Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in a similar role, preferable from high-end fashion brands
·Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
·Experience in PLM is meriting
