Job summary

Bluewater in France seeks an experienced Chief Engineer for a 45m+ private motor yacht. The permanent role starts ASAP; hands-on leadership with a strong mechanical and electrical background is essential.

Requirements include 5 years as Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer, CoC for 3000 kW, and Maltese flag experience; Med (Summer) / Italy (Winter) itineraries. The yacht is currently in the South of France.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Chief Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical experience.
• Solid engineering background.
• Experience: 5 years as Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer.
• All relevant qualifications in place.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all technical systems on board.
• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
