Description du poste

1. Scope
Evolve within a TECH Automotive domain involving start-ups, GAFAM, and key software players, from basic layer software components (operating systems or hypervisors) to complex connected features (navigation systems, voice recognition, virtual personal assistants). The role also encompasses on-premise software purchasing, cloud services, OTA platforms, and more. Support the organization and promote your skills for our next Software Defined Vehicle platform.

2. Activity
For the software commodity group, under the control of the purchasing manager and with support from the commodity leader, the Software Buyer is responsible for:

• Defining the commodity strategy (COMMS) in their area by analyzing industry and demand trends, and supporting the commodity leader in sourcing strategy development and implementation.
• Managing relationships within their supplier panel.
• Managing contracts and negotiations with suppliers during bidding processes.
• Sourcing new suppliers within their scope.
• Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues.
• Acting as the interface between purchasing, project, and engineering during development, from supplier nomination to start of production.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.

The responsibilities include sourcing suppliers at optimal QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance), meeting program price targets, negotiating purchase terms, and evaluating supplier performance.

To succeed as a Software Buyer, one should develop efficient procurement solutions and support the commodity leader and purchasing manager in sourcing strategy development and execution.

Profile

Required knowledge:
• Proficiency in English (C1 level)
• Engineering degree; software knowledge is advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience as a program or commodity buyer or similar role.
