Gramian Consultancy partners with a Big4 consultancy to deliver AI-driven transformation for leading financial institutions. You will design and build scalable microservices and backend APIs, integrating AI systems with enterprise data and cloud services.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of backend experience with Python/Node.js, REST/GraphQL, RBAC and CI/CD. This Europe-based contractor role runs Oct 2026–Jul 2027 with possible extensions and requires fluent English.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of backend, platform, or software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development with Python and/or Node.js.
• Experience building scalable, secure cloud-based applications.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on authentication, authorization, and RBAC experience.
• Experience integrating apps with cloud-hosted services and data platforms.
• Strong Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code review practices.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsabilités

• Design and build scalable, resilient, and secure microservices and backend APIs.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL services for production-grade apps.
• Integrate databases, third-party services, and legacy platforms with AI systems.
• Optimize backend latency, throughput, and resources for real-time AI workloads.
• Implement enterprise authentication, authorization, RBAC, and rate limiting.
• Build secure service-to-service integrations across cloud environments.
• Establish clean coding standards and maintain engineering quality.
• Write comprehensive integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to deploy models and services in containerized environments.
• Apply Git, CI/CD, testing, and cloud engineering best practices throughout delivery.
