Gramian Consulting is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to build and secure the cloud infrastructure for production AI solutions. The role emphasizes CI/CD, IaC, container orchestration, cloud security, monitoring, and compliance across AWS and Azure.

The contract is a contractor assignment running from October 2026 to July 2027, with potential extension. Fluent English is required and Europe-based remote work is supported, with possible future Prague hybrid work.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in DevSecOps/Cloud engineering or related roles.
• Strong experience with AWS and Azure cloud infra.
• Deep understanding of cloud security controls, IAM, networking, and permissions.
• Hands-on with Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable IaC tooling.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Proven track record designing and operating automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid English communication skills.

Our client is a Big4 Consultancy group that works with leading financial institutions on AI-driven transformation, automation, advanced analytics, and financial crime prevention. Their work spans intelligent fraud detection, AML/KYC modernization, autonomous workflows, enterprise AI platforms, and the secure industrialization of AI in highly regulated environments.

We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to build and secure the cloud infrastructure supporting production AI solutions. The role focuses on CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, cloud security, monitoring, and compliance automation across AWS and Azure environments.

CONTRACT: Contractor assignment, expected October 2026 - July 2027, with potential extension

COMMITMENT: Full-time

LOCATIONS: Europe-based, preferably CEE; remote, with potential future hybrid work in Prague

PROCESS: Initial qualification followed by technical and client interviews

NOTES: Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines for AI applications
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable tools
• Embed automated security scanning, vulnerability checks, and compliance guardrails into delivery pipelines
• Manage containerized workloads and Kubernetes environments, including AKS and EKS
• Configure cloud permissions, identity controls, and secure network boundaries
• Establish application and infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and logging
• Improve platform availability, reliability, and operational resilience
• Collaborate with enterprise security teams on penetration testing and remediation
• Support secure deployment patterns across development, testing, and production environments
• Apply DevSecOps best practices across infrastructure, security, and release processes

Requirements

• Approximately 5-10 years of professional DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, or cloud engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure
• Deep understanding of cloud security controls, IAM, networking, and permissions
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable IaC tooling
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes, ideally including AKS and EKS
• Experience designing and operating automated CI/CD pipelines
• Experience implementing security scanning, vulnerability management, or compliance controls in delivery pipelines
• Fluent professional English
