Leonar is seeking a Senior Backend Developer based in Paris or Bordeaux to join our Tech team. You will work closely with the Head of Software to scale our systems and accelerate product development, combining deep technical ownership with hands-on architecture work.

The role involves contributing to architecture, improving performance, and delivering robust backend services in Python, with optional Node.js or Go. Ownership and clear communication are highly valued as we build for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Python background.
• Familiarity with Node.js or Go is a plus.
• Ability to own and drive technical decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High standards for code quality and architecture.
• Bonus: real-time or distributed systems experience.
