Job summary

Photoroom is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own the pricing system across our iOS, Android, Web, and API offerings. You will shape pricing architecture and drive product growth initiatives while collaborating with frontend engineers and product owners to deliver fast, reliable features.

We expect 5+ years of Django backend experience, strong PostgreSQL/MySQL skills, and hands-on work with Stripe and RevenueCat for subscription management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and databases for SaaS products.
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own the pricing system architecture and delivery across all apps and platforms.
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to iterate quickly on pricing features.
• Optimize endpoints to reduce latency and scale to higher usage volumes.
