Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on API distributed architecture.
• Proven experience in Go and high-volume API microservices.
• Self-reliant with startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in English; international team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering to create new features for the BeReal app.
• Analyze trade-offs and address technical challenges in key backend components.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality and performance.
• Contribute to building a robust architecture capable of scaling massively as users grow.
• Tackle exciting technical challenges with spikes of millions of users.
