Job summary

GitGuardian, a Paris-based cybersecurity scale-up, is looking for a Senior Python/Django engineer to join the Sources Squad. You will own features end-to-end, from scoping with Product and Design through technical design, implementation, deployment and monitoring on a large Django application.

You’ll work on backend systems (Python/Django, PostgreSQL, Redis) with a small team, emphasize reliability, observability, and AI-assisted development while maintaining high code quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production Python/Django experience.
• Strong ORM, SQL optimization for large tables.
• Experience handling production incidents end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from scoping with Product and Design to deployment and monitoring.
• Tackle production incidents, root cause analysis and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Staff Engineer to deliver robust systems.
