Hivebrite is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend services using Ruby, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Golang. You will lead the decomposition of our monolith into modular, service-oriented components and drive performance, reliability, and data modeling.

You’ll implement AI-powered features in collaboration with Product and Data teams, elevate the developer experience with AI tooling and CI/CD, and contribute to architecture reviews and long-term platform

Qualifications

• Proficient in one of the listed stacks (Ruby, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Golang).
• Experience building high-scale backend systems (millions of users, high throughput).
• Strong API-first design and distributed systems know-how.
