🌟 Your Role

• Design and build scalable backend services using Ruby, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Golang
• Lead the decomposition of our monolith into modular, service‑oriented components
• Drive performance and reliability improvements, leveraging async queues, caching strategies, and data modelling
• Implement AI‑powered features (personalisation, automation, recommendations) in collaboration with Product and Data teams
• Elevate our internal developer experience, integrating AI tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and streamlining CI/CD workflows
• Engineer robust integrations with third‑party APIs, webhooks, and event‑driven systems
• Champion technical excellence across testing, observability, and system design
• Shape the technical vision, actively contributing to architecture reviews and long‑term platform strategy

• Proficient in one of the following stacks: Ruby, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Golang
• Track record of building high‑scale backend systems (millions of users, high throughput, distributed architecture)
• Experience with service extraction and API‑first designs
• Solid grasp of distributed systems, async processing, observability, and modern caching strategies
• Interest or hands‑on experience with AI/ML applications in product or engineering contexts
• Familiar with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), and modern DevOps tooling
• Collaborative, thoughtful communicator who enjoys leading cross‑functional technical efforts
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
