🌟 Your Role
- Design and build scalable backend services using Ruby, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Golang
- Lead the decomposition of our monolith into modular, service‑oriented components
- Drive performance and reliability improvements, leveraging async queues, caching strategies, and data modelling
- Implement AI‑powered features (personalisation, automation, recommendations) in collaboration with Product and Data teams
- Elevate our internal developer experience, integrating AI tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and streamlining CI/CD workflows
- Engineer robust integrations with third‑party APIs, webhooks, and event‑driven systems
- Champion technical excellence across testing, observability, and system design
- Shape the technical vision, actively contributing to architecture reviews and long‑term platform strategy
🌟 About You
- Proficient in one of the following stacks: Ruby, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Golang
- Track record of building high‑scale backend systems (millions of users, high throughput, distributed architecture)
- Experience with service extraction and API‑first designs
- Solid grasp of distributed systems, async processing, observability, and modern caching strategies
- Interest or hands‑on experience with AI/ML applications in product or engineering contexts
- Familiar with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), and modern DevOps tooling
- Collaborative, thoughtful communicator who enjoys leading cross‑functional technical efforts
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
