You will craft scalable, secure backend systems, collaborate with product, design, APIs, and cross-functional squads, and turn complex technical challenges into robust, user-friendly features.

The role emphasizes performance, security, and reliability, with experience in SQL, Redis, Docker, OpenAPI, and observability tooling like

Qualifications

• Proven back-end development experience.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Proficiency with profiling and performance optimization tools.
• Experience leading a team initiative from discovery to production.
• Strong SQL expertise and data modeling with MySQL.
• Familiarity with Redis or caching for performance.
• Knowledge of security best practices in software.
• Deep understanding of HTTP/REST APIs.
• Knowledge of cryptography, key exchange, symmetric vs asymmetric.
• Operational experience (SRE/on-call).
• Experience with Docker or containerization.
• Experience with Grafana/OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with Python and/or Rust.
• Experience with OpenAPI or API documentation.
