Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Developer, you develop application structure for entire team; you serve as a team expert in client-side implementation; very heavy emphasis on JavaScript including writing, diagnosing problems, getting around limitations, and creating efficiency and optimization to do things that will push the client applications capabilities to the limit. Actively participate in product feature and design discussions; help shape products and adjust approach as level of precision for each project dictates. You present backend solutions to both technical leadership and other software engineering teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, required
• Minimum eight years’ experience in software development in back end systems in web technologies

Experience in:

• Developing micro-service based web applications
• API design and development
• Re-platforming, application rationalization, and target architecture and roadmap development
• Java, JEE, Spring and agile development; experience in Hybris, preferred
• Good communications skills in English, an agile mindset, and excellent problem solving skills
