Implicity, a digital MedTech in Paris, seeks a Backend Engineer to join the Ingestion squad. You’ll develop backend services in TypeScript/NestJS, build connectors for cardiac device data, and ensure reliability on a regulated HealthTech platform.

You’ll work on APIs, orchestration with Temporal, and data access across PostgreSQL, MariaDB and MongoDB, in a hybrid Paris-based role with opportunities to influence a growing stack and data-driven patient care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience, including taking services to production and operating them over time.
• Strong backend engineering skills in at least one of: Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, Go or Scala.
• Experience designing APIs and integrating data from external sources.
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
• Curiosity and AI productivity tools usage are encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain the backend services of our ingestion platform (TypeScript, NestJS, Node.js).
• Build and evolve the connectors that integrate data from implanted and ambulatory cardiac devices into the platform.
• Orchestrate processing with Temporal, and handle service-to-service communication (RabbitMQ).
• Design and expose the APIs consumed by the rest of the platform.
• Optimise access to PostgreSQL, MariaDB and MongoDB databases.
• Own reliability in production: Grafana, GitLab CI, deployment on Kubernetes and AWS.
