Job summary

NXP is seeking a System and Software Architect to contribute to the CoreRide platform architecture within the Automotive System and Platform Architecture organization. You will analyze trade-offs across network topologies, functional safety, wake-up times, and security, while engaging with OEM advanced engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience of System and Software architecture definition and development.
• Knowledge of vehicle functions and Software Platforms from drivers to middleware.
• Strong Software Architecture skills to define frameworks and components.

Responsibilities

• Use Architecture systems and Software engineering tools to understand architecture trade-offs and how they are impacted by NXP products – e.g. network topologies, functional safety, wake-up times, communication latencies, security, power distribution & management.
• Hands-On, Prototyping on different Archetype to analyse and explore different partitioning and Key Performance Indicators (Power and Performance)
• Collaborate with NXP engineering and Architecture Automotive teams on various Architecture exploration, analysis and execution
• Define System and Software Architecture solutions for our CoreRide platforms that covers different archetypes, either Central or Zonal
• Deliver System and Software Architecture specifications and support the execution teams ensuring feedback loop and fast convergence
