Jobgether seeks a Sr. Automation Tester based in France to help ensure the quality, security, and reliability of software supporting an IRS code modernization initiative.

You will translate project requirements into comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated testing workflows. The role combines hands-on manual and automated testing with defect management, regression testing, and acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• Experience writing, maintaining, and executing software test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and the software development lifecycle.

Responsabilités

• Analyze project requirements and translate them into clear test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts.
• Set up and manage test environments for different testing activities.
• Perform functional, regression, acceptance, and other required tests.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium or Cypress.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution with the development team.
• Perform backend testing involving APIs and databases, including SQL-based validation.
• Participate in the SDLC and integrate testing into CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues.
• Evaluate test results and provide feedback on software quality and risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Support accessibility, performance, and security testing as required.
