Job summary

ACL Partners is seeking candidates with several years of private equity secondaries experience at Associate or Senior Associate level. You will work on LP-led and GP-led transactions, building detailed models and performing comprehensive due diligence across funds and underlying assets.

You will coordinate with senior investment professionals, conduct valuation and scenario analyses, and contribute to portfolio reviews and investment theses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute LP-led and GP-led secondary transactions across a broad range of private equity strategies.
• Build and review detailed transaction models, cash-flow forecasts, NAV analyses, return scenarios and downside cases.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on funds, managers and underlying portfolio companies, including valuation, leverage, operating performance and exit analysis.
• Prepare investment committee materials and clearly articulate the investment thesis, key risks, pricing considerations and expected returns.
• Coordinate transaction execution with GPs, LPs, advisers, legal counsel and other counterparties from initial screening through signing and closing.
• Support sourcing and relationship development across the GP, LP and private markets advisory ecosystem.
• Monitor existing investments and contribute to ongoing portfolio reviews, valuation work and strategic analysis.
• Take progressively greater ownership of transactions while working closely with senior members of a highly experienced investment team.

We are seeking candidates with several years of direct private equity secondaries investment experience at Associate or Senior Associate level, with hands-on transaction exposure across both LP-led and GP-led secondaries.

Our client is an independent global private markets investment platform focused on private equity and tailored liquidity solutions. The firm invests across traditional LP interests, continuation vehicles, structured GP-led transactions and other complex secondary situations, alongside broader co-investment and primary strategies. Operating internationally across Europe, North America and Asia, the platform combines institutional scale with a highly specialist and investment-led culture.

The role is well suited to an investor who has already developed a strong technical foundation in secondaries and now wants greater ownership across underwriting, execution and portfolio work. Candidates will work directly with senior investment professionals on complex transactions, assessing both fund-level and underlying asset performance and taking an active role throughout the investment process.

Qualifications:

• Several years of relevant investment experience within private equity secondaries, a dedicated private markets investor or a highly relevant specialist advisory platform.
• Demonstrable transaction experience across both LP-led and GP-led secondaries is essential.
• Strong private equity modelling, valuation and fund analysis skills, with the ability to assess both portfolio-level and individual asset risk.
• Experience analysing continuation vehicles, fund portfolios, GP quality, underlying company performance and transaction structures.
• Strong academic background combined with excellent analytical judgement and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise investment recommendations and interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Highly motivated, intellectually rigorous and comfortable operating across several live transactions simultaneously.
• French language capability and experience within the French or broader European private markets ecosystem are advantageous.
