Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist in Paris to design and deploy machine learning powered features within the Datadog platform. You will work with engineering and product teams to scale and deliver features that the Applied AI team incubates.

You will explore, analyze, and tell stories from high-volume data while maintaining models and services, and participating in on-call rotations. The role emphasizes production-ready ML solutions for a user-facing product.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS/BS in CS, Engineering or ML or equivalent experience.
• Experience with high-scale systems and production data pipelines.
• Ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design ML-driven features for Datadog products.
• Research and benchmark algorithms for use cases.
• Develop, deploy, and monitor features in production.
• Read and present recent academic papers in journal club.
• Analyze large volumes of data and derive insights.
