Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Senior Application Engineer – CNC to join our growing team in Loni, Ghaziabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, tooling, process optimization, and customer interaction. You will be the key technical liaison between the company’s engineering and sales teams and its customers, playing a pivotal role in pre-sales consultations, process development, machine installation, and post-sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Sales Support:
• Work with the sales team to analyze customer requirements and provide suitable CNC solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Develop time studies, cycle time estimates, and tooling suggestions for customer parts.
• Process Development:
• Design, develop, and optimize CNC machining processes for new and existing parts.
• Create CNC programs using G-code and/or CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens NX).
• Select tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters based on part geometry and material.
• Customer Support & Training:
• Support customer site trials, installations, and production ramp-ups.
• Conduct on-site training for machine operators and engineers on CNC operations, programming, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at the customer site.
• Internal Collaboration:
• Coordinate with the design, production, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide feedback to R&D and design teams based on real-time customer inputs and shopfloor observations.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain records of application setups, programs, tooling details, and best practices.
• Generate technical documentation, case studies, and user manuals as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in CNC application engineering, preferably in CNC machining center environments.
• Strong expertise in G-code programming
• Hands-on experience with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.).
• Excellent understanding of tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies.
• Good knowledge of GD&T, machining tolerances, and material properties.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across India for support and training.
