ROLE DESCRIPTION :

As a Senior Angular UI / UX Developer at MailSPEC, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing sophisticated user interfaces for our secure communications platform, which includes encrypted mail, chat, and video capabilities. This full-time remote position requires balancing technical excellence with exceptional user experience design.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces using Angular (v17+)
• Collaborate with product management to translate requirements into elegant implementations
• Create and maintain reusable UI components and design systems
• Ensure applications meet accessibility standards and perform well across devices
• Work with backend developers to integrate frontend components with APIs
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for frontend code
• Participate in testing to validate design decisions and confirm stability

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Strong proficiency in Angular (5+ years experience mandatory)
• Advanced knowledge of UI / UX design principles with proven experience on projects
• Experience with responsive design and component-based architecture
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code with appropriate documentation
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Knowledge of user testing methodologies and accessibility standards
• Knowledge of email, chat, or video communication (WebRTC) systems is a big plus
• A strong understanding of web security practices and cryptography would be nice but not required
• Effective communication skills in English (French language skills are a plus)
