GitGuardian is seeking a senior engineer to join the Incidents Squad in Paris, focusing on building and scaling LLM-powered features for our security platform. You will work on production-grade AI workflows, collaborate with ML engineers, and optimize performance, reliability, and observability across services.

The role requires 5+ years of software engineering, strong Python and API skills, and an ownership mindset. The hybrid Paris office schedule is three days on-site per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software-engineering experience in production systems.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered features in production.
• Experience improving LLM systems with prompts, evaluations, and data analysis.
• Ability to scale LLM systems (caching, batching, routing, observability).
• Strong Python skills and REST API familiarity.
• Senior-level mindset: debugging, refactoring, thoughtful code reviews, scalability.
• Ownership mindset: identifying gaps and taking initiative.
• Ability to connect technical decisions to product and business outcomes.
• Regular use of AI tools in daily workflow.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, especially with ML teams.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Build and iterate on LLM features, including agentic workflows.
• Scale platform foundations behind LLM features: orchestration, performance, reliability.
• Collaborate with ML engineers on design, evaluation, and productionization of AI systems.
