Job summary

Parallel is building AI agents to automate hospital administrative workflows, starting with medical coding. You will shape its core AI architecture and ML strategy, owning features end-to-end from prototype to production.

You will work directly with the CTO and founding team in a high-ownership role, deploying production systems and integrating outputs into hospital tools. This is an on-site Paris position with strong impact on patient care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on ML/AI in production environments.
• Strong experience with LLMs and NLP, including prompts and fine-tuning.
• Proficient in Python or Node.js with ML libraries.
• Deep sense of ownership and ability to move from prototype to product quickly.
• Autonomous and proactive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience with sensitive or regulated data is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production-ready AI systems (LLM-powered and agent-based) to automate medical coding.
• Build and iterate on agent-based workflows tailored to clinical operations.
• Create secure, scalable data ingestion pipelines compliant with health data standards.
• Integrate AI outputs into hospital apps used by doctors and staff.
• Define the AI roadmap with the CTO and own the lifecycle of features.
