Roundtable is seeking its first internal accountant to build and own the in-house SPV accounting function in Paris. With 1,000+ SPVs already managed, you will internalize this core capability and scale it for thousands of entities while collaborating with Operations, Product and Engineering to automate workflows.

Your mission combines strong accounting fundamentals with a builder mindset to run reliable operations today and design scalable systems for the future.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or another analytical field.
• 4+ years in accounting or audit, with exposure to SPVs, Private Equity, Asset Management, or similarly complex financial structures.
• Strong understanding of LuxGAAP or French GAAP; knowledge of other GAAP frameworks is a plus.
• Systems mindset: structure, simplify and scale processes.
• Automation-first: comfortable with technology, AI and automation tools.
• Ownership: rigorous and autonomous, building processes from scratch.
• Languages: fluent in French and English; other European languages a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo and/or accounting automation tools is a plus.

We are looking for our first internal accountant to build and own Roundtable’s in-house SPV accounting function.

With 1,000+ SPVs already managed through Roundtable, accounting is becoming a core part of the infrastructure we need to bring in-house and scale.

This is not a traditional accounting role. As we internalize SPV accounting, your mission is to combine strong accounting fundamentals with a builder mindset: running reliable accounting operations today while designing systems that can support thousands of entities tomorrow.

You’ll work closely with Operations, Product and Engineering to rethink workflows, automate repetitive work and build accounting operations that scale.

Run SPV accounting

• Own day-to-day SPV accounting, from bookkeeping and reconciliations to closings and annual accounts.

• Ensure accounting accuracy and consistency across entities, including cash and intercompany transactions.

Build & automate

• Lead the internalization of SPV accounting and design scalable workflows that can support thousands of entities.

• Work with Product and Engineering to automate repetitive processes and build Roundtable’s accounting infrastructure.

Own the accounting function

• Act as Roundtable’s internal accounting expert, ensuring compliance and best practices.

• Build the accounting function over time: first owning SPV accounting, then growing the team and expanding the scope to Roundtable’s own entities and funds.

• Background: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or another analytical field.

• Experience: 4+ years in accounting or audit, with exposure to SPVs, Private Equity, Asset Management, or similarly complex financial structures.

• Accounting expertise: Strong understanding of LuxGAAP or French GAAP; knowledge of other GAAP frameworks is a plus.

• Systems mindset: You naturally look for ways to structure, simplify and scale processes rather than adding manual work.

• Automation-first: You are comfortable with technology, AI and automation tools, and eager to use them to rethink how accounting operates.

• Ownership: Rigorous and autonomous, you’re comfortable owning critical accounting operations while building processes from scratch.

• Languages: Fluent in French and English; any additional European language is a plus.

• Tools & automation: Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo and/or accounting automation tools is a plus.
