This role is central to ensuring financial compliance, establishing core processes, and delivering accurate reporting for our French entities, in close collaboration with our finance teams in Germany and Poland.

__What You’ll Gain:__A key position in shaping the finance setup of a newly integrated business, driving critical system implementations, and supporting the foundation for scalable finance operations within a fast-growing SaaS group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition of accounting processes from the previous parent company (Orange) into Shiftmove’s operating model
  • Ensure full compliance with French GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
  • Oversee the full accounting operations for our French entity, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll postings, provisions, and month-end closings
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, delivering accurate financial reports to Group Finance in Germany (IFRS)
  • Drive the implementation of our ERP system (NetSuite) in France, in alignment with group-wide standards
  • Serve as a liaison with our accounting teams in Germany and Poland to ensure consistent consolidation, intercompany alignment, and financial governance
  • Act as key finance contact for external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors, and payroll providers
  • Strengthen internal controls and help design scalable finance processes to support our SaaS business model
  • Support budget and forecast cycles, working closely with local and central finance teams
  • Manage tax filings and regulatory submissions, including VAT and corporate tax
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and other operational teams to align financial and business reporting

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth SaaS, tech, or service environment
  • Strong knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS.
  • Fluent in French with strong English communication skills for cross-border collaboration
  • Experience working in international or multi-entity organizations
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
  • Proficient in ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP; experience in system implementations or migrations is an advantage
  • Background in audit, preferably with time spent at a Big Four firm
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
  • Hands-on, structured, and proactive, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments
  • Nice to have: HGB familiarity is a plus

  • Flexible work setup: Remote work up to 2 days per week and flexible working hours after probation
  • Meal vouchers to support your daily well-being
  • Full health insurance, including your whole family
