Position : Senior Account Executive IoT - M2M / Internet of Things

Location : Paris, France - Remote Working Available

Our client is a scaling connectivity disruptor in the IoT and M2M space. They seek a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive IoT to join their growing French and International team. This role is focused on driving new business development and revenue growth in the Internet of Things and Machine-to-Machine connectivity sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in telecommunications, IoT solutions, and connectivity services, with a proven track record of securing high-value deals with enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development : Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities in IoT / M2M connectivity solutions.
  • Sales Strategy Execution : Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate target markets, including enterprise, industrial, and smart infrastructure sectors.
  • Client Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored IoT solutions.
  • Solution Selling : Present and demonstrate IoT and M2M connectivity solutions, showcasing their value in driving digital transformation.
  • Revenue Generation : Drive and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring consistent growth in revenue and market share.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and technical support, to enhance the customer journey.
  • Market Insights : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and forecasting using CRM tools.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven Track Record : Minimum of 7 years of successful B2B sales experience in IoT, M2M, telecommunications, and connectivity solutions.
  • Industry Expertise : Strong understanding of IoT applications, including smart cities, industrial IoT, telematics, and connected devices.
  • Sales Acumen : Demonstrated ability to identify and close high-value deals with enterprise clients.
  • Networking Skills : Established network of contacts within industries such as automotive, transportation, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, or utilities.
  • Technical Understanding : Knowledge of IoT connectivity technologies such as LPWAN, 5G, NB-IoT, LTE-M, and SIM / eSIM solutions.
  • Excellent Communication : Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Self-Motivated : Ability to work independently with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
