Job summary

The Operations Security Manager at EUSPA will oversee security for Galileo and EGNOS service provision, coordinating with GSMC Operations, the Security Authority and the Engineering Department on cybersecurity needs. You will manage security aspects of current and future contracts and internal arrangements to ensure robust protection of PNT services.

Qualifications

• Experience in management of security activities within an operational environment.
• Experience in implementation of security frameworks within complex systems.
• Direct/hands-on experience in the implementation of cyber-security processes is an asset.
• Contract management, preferably under a service level agreement.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
• Motivation for the post; Effective communication; Customer focus and service orientation; Transversal collaboration and leadership; Analytical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-by-day coordination of PNT Service Provision management team, responsible for security activities.
• Oversee security activities within current and future service provision contracts.
• Ensure coordination between security management tasks of Service Providers and real-time security monitoring by GSMC.
• Contribute to accreditation activities and milestones within service contracts.
• Chair project infrastructure and operational boards for topics related to service provision security.
• Support Security Boards (e.g., Security Accreditation Board, Security Working Groups) as needed.
• Participate in the Operations Change Control Board to ensure security of changes.
• Manage resources assigned to support their area of responsibility.
• Coordinate with other EUSPA departments to ensure execution of corporate tasks.
