GCI is seeking an Infrastructure DevOps Lead to design and implement complex cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions in a TS/SCI environment. You will lead an Agile Kanban team, drive security and accreditation, and mentor engineers across AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC tooling.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and cloud migrations from on-premises to AWS, with a focus on automation and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading Agile teams using Kanban methodologies to deliver infrastructure solutions.
• Proven ability to navigate security processes and accreditation requirements with customers in complex environments.
• Expertise in guiding technical direction using infrastructure as code technologies and frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience hardening AWS environments and architectures to meet customer security and compliance requirements.
• Established experience working with external stakeholders to map requirements and coordinate deployments tasks.
• Proven ability to collaborate with development teams to identify and implement integrated solutions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes container orchestration (EKS preferred).
• Demonstrated experience leading cloud migration projects from on-premises hardware to AWS infrastructure.
• Subject matter expert in infrastructure automation languages including Ansible and Terraform.
• Proficiency with scripting languages including Python and Bash, and extensive Linux system administration experience.
• Demonstrated experience deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and ArgoCD.
• Proven ability taking COTS and GOTS applications and deploying them at scale for large enterprise applications.
• Prior experience delivering software, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps solutions that adhere to the client or IC data handling, compliance, and security requirements.

• Mentor DevOps engineers and foster collaboration.
• Map requirements with external stakeholders and coordinate deployment tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
• Lead cloud migration efforts from on-premises to AWS infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage CI/CD pipelines enabling continuous delivery.
• Scale COTS and GOTS applications for large enterprise deployments.
• Drive ongoing automation and deployment process improvements.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends to enhance infrastructure offerings.
