Job Title: Security Architect – SaaS-Focused IT Projects

Setup: Freelance (day rate)

Location: Paris, France

Duration: Initial 3 months (extendable up to 6 months)

We’re seeking a Security Architect to support IT projects built around SaaS platforms , ensuring secure-by-design principles are applied from initiation to delivery. You’ll play a key role in aligning projects with Group security policies while embedding modern cloud security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and document security requirements for SaaS-driven initiatives
• Conduct risk assessments tailored to SaaS architectures , focusing on data isolation , multitenancy , API security , and cloud compliance
• Recommend and track the implementation of mitigation controls
• Validate security implementations via testing or audit procedures
• Report on the security posture of projects, providing strategic input to leadership
• Expertise in SaaS security architecture , including third-party platform assessments
• In-depth knowledge of application security principles (e.g. OWASP , DevSecOps )
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as EBIOS , ISO 27005 , or NIST
• Experience working with compliance and data privacy standards like GDPR , SOC 2 , and ISO 27001

This role blends cybersecurity architecture , SaaS technologies , and compliance expertise , making it ideal for professionals with a proactive mindset who can translate policy into practice in cloud-native environments .
