Alignerr is seeking a Search Quality Evaluator (AI Training) to assess search results, AI-generated answers and content recommendations, helping ensure AI-powered search is accurate and useful. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong critical thinking and a sharp eye for quality.

You will evaluate relevance, rate responses with rubrics, rank results by quality, and provide concise written explanations.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong critical thinking and a sharp eye for quality. No technical background or prior AI experience required — just a reliable internet connection and a commitment to doing good work.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate search engine results for relevance, accuracy, and overall usefulness
• Rate AI-generated answers and content recommendations using structured evaluation rubrics
• Compare multiple search results and rank them by quality and appropriateness
• Provide clear, concise written explanations to support your ratings
• Work through task-based assignments independently at your own pace

Who You Are

• Comfortable using search engines and navigating the web with confidence
• Able to assess content quality and relevance objectively and consistently
• Detail-oriented with a systematic, methodical approach to tasks
• Strong written communication skills in English
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No technical, AI, or search industry experience required

Nice to Have

• Background in research, journalism, editing, or content evaluation
• Experience with quality assurance, fact-checking, or critical analysis
• Familiarity with AI tools or search platforms as an everyday user
• Broad general knowledge across a variety of topics and subject areas
