Job Description

Safran is seeking a proactive and skilled Scrum Master to oversee the operational management of the portal application development and testing activities. As a member of the Customer Relationship Excellence Center (CRM/Portal), the Scrum Master will support our teams in implementing and optimizing the future customer portals, in an agile mode. This role involves close collaboration with the offshore development team based in India and daily interaction with the CRM and Portal Team Lead in India. The Scrum coordinator will act as the operational leader for portal development, addressing blockers, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business value. Key Responsibilities :

Operational Coordination
- Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the portal application.
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for development and testing activities.
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment between the India-based development team and French stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the CRM and Portal Team Lead in India for daily follow-ups and status updates.

Development and Testing Management
- Plan, track, and monitor development and testing activities to ensure timely delivery of enhancements and fixes.
- Facilitate the resolution of blockers or issues impacting progress, serving as a problem-solver and liaison between teams.
- Ensure testing is thorough, meeting quality standards before deployments.

AWS Environment Management
- Understand and support the infrastructure hosted on AWS Cloud, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of the portal application.
- Coordinate with the infrastructure team to manage AWS-related changes or enhancements.
- Leverage knowledge of AWS services to support development and testing activities effectively.

Agile and Service Management Practices
- Drive agile practices within the team, ensuring efficient sprints and backlog prioritization.
- Implement Scrum, ITIL and service management principles to ensure a structured and effective approach to incident and change management.
- Organize and lead operational ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.

Technical Understanding and Facilitation
- Understand the technical challenges faced by the development team and facilitate the resolution of complex issues.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Stay updated on portal-related technologies, ensuring relevance and alignment with the company's technical strategy.

Job Requirements

Experience and Expertise
- 8+ years in IT coordination, development management, or similar roles.
- Proven experience working with offshore development teams, especially in a global or multicultural environment.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and ITIL principles.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud environments, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, or similar.
- Familiarity with portal applications (e.g., Drupal or similar CMS platforms).
- Understanding of both technical challenges and the business impact of portal applications.

Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Experience in digital projects, especially client portals.
- Proficiency with Agile tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps, Miro, etc.
- Understanding of technical concepts: APIs, cloud, CI/CD integration.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of portal technologies, testing practices, and cloud-based infrastructure. Ability to manage and align multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving blockers or operational issues.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English (French is a strong advantage).
