We are looking for a R&D Technician M/F for all group activities, based at our Saint-Chamond (42) site.

Reporting to the Group R&D Director, your role is to contribute to the development, validation and industrialisation of products for all Group activities, working closely with the R&D, production and project teams.

Your tasks:

• Product development and improvement
  • Participate in the conception, optimisation, and evolution of Products (plastic films, flexible laminates)
  • Adapt Technical specifications based on test results and customer requirements
  • Contribute to Group R&D projects in conjunction with internal teams
• Tests, trials and industrial validation
  • Carry out the product tests and analyse the results according to internal or client specifications
  • Pilot laboratory and industrial trials (lamination, coating, printing, screen printing, printed electronics)
  • Write summary reports with clear analyses and conclusions
• Industrialisation and laboratory operation
  • Apporter Technical support for industrialisation of products in development
  • Working in interface with the production and project managers
  • Take part in good functioning of the laboratory in compliance with safety rules and established procedures

Your profile:

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent (2-3 years higher education) in chemistry, materials science (polymers and plastics) and initial professional experience in the sector.
• Carrying out tests and trials, mastering laboratory equipment (Adhesion, peel, mechanical property, coating, screen printing tests).
• Formalisation and synthesis of test results.
• Proficiency in office software.
• English basics.
