ADDEV Materials is hiring a Production Methods Technician at its Portet-sur-Garonne site (31). You will handle customer technical requests, optimise manufacturing methods, and participate in scheduling as a replacement.

• BTS/DUT in production, methods, industrialisation or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid technical knowledge and proficiency with production method management systems.
• Knowledge of chemicals (adhesives, viscosity, density, etc.) would be a real plus.
• Proficient with office tools and business software, particularly ERP systems.
• Rigor, analytical skills, a taste for teamwork and a customer service orientation complete your profile.

Responsabilités

• Handle customer technical requests: estimate transformation costs, time, materials; validate processes to aeronautical standards.
• Optimise manufacturing methods: create/update manufacturing orders and procedures; monitor time and cost controls; support Lean continuous improvement.
• Participate in scheduling as a replacement: create/declare/close OFs; produce weekly production schedule; check resource availability.

Your tasks:

As a Methods Technician, reporting to the Production Manager, you play a central role in processing customer technical requests and optimising the site's manufacturing methods. Your responsibilities are structured around three major areas:

Handle customer technical requests

• Carry out transformation estimates (costs, time, materials) and ensure technical feasibility.
• Leading studies: internal coordination, compilation of technical files, and validation of processes in accordance with aeronautical standards.
• Ensure documentary compliance and reference new products (codes, ranges, nomenclatures) in the ERP.

Optimise manufacturing methods

• Create and update manufacturing orders, operating procedures and associated documents.
• Implement and monitor time and cost controls to ensure the reliability of manufacturing data.
• To actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, by mobilising Lean tools

Participate in scheduling (as a replacement)

• Create, declare, and close OFs.
• Produce the weekly production schedule (subject to approval).
• Check the availability of resources and components required for manufacturing

Your profile:

• Educated with an academic background of Bac+2 level (BTS/DUT) in production, methods, industrialisation, or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid technical knowledge and proficiency with production method management systems.
• A knowledge of chemicals (adhesives, viscosity, density, etc.) would be a real plus.
• Proficient with office tools and business software, particularly ERP systems.
• Rigor, analytical skills, a taste for teamwork and a customer service orientation complete your profile.
