Job Description:

Segment: Petcare

Contract: Permanent

Location: Paris or Saint-Denis-de-l'Hôtel

As part of the proposed European Operating Model transformation, this critical and dynamic role will lead Scientific & Regulatory Affairs activities in the France, Belgium, Netherlands cluster. This cluster has highly active regulators in each market, adding complexity beyond European regulations, which may be numerous and interdependent. The successful candidate will identify scientific and regulatory issues, define their business implications, and ensure that implementation plans are developed and deployed to maintain compliance or turn initiatives into business opportunities.

What are we looking for?

1. Ability to navigate through complexity and ambiguity
2. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with experience working with diverse teams across locations
3. Fluent in English (written & spoken) and the language of the cluster country
4. 5+ years experience in SRA or related technical disciplines
5. University degree or equivalent
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
7. A collaborative culture and positive mindset, viewing change as an opportunity

What will be your key responsibilities?

1. Provide strategic regulatory guidance to internal partners on regulations and emerging issues, managing technical regulatory matters and staying updated on regulatory developments
2. Develop and execute external regulatory influencing strategies, representing the company to influence policy and legislation proactively
3. Lead compliance activities in complex markets, ensuring adherence to internal processes and full compliance of ingredients, recipes, labelling, and packaging with laws and regulations
4. Lead complex SRA projects with regional or global scope, participating in relevant fora
