SAP SD Lead Consultant

Within the Digital & IT organization and attached to the Team Lead SAP Digital Sales, your key role will be to be part of the roll-outs & contribute to the enhancements on the solution. You will evolve in an international context, with an ambitious Digital Transformation Program in progress on SAP S/4HANA. This program is mainly powered by a new SAP S/4HANA core model connected to several applications like Salesforce, IBP, MDG & PIM. The general design started in April 2023, with strong ambitions for operational transformation.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Become a functional lead on the Sales area.
2. Develop a deep understanding of Saint-Gobain business processes and strategy through strong collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and business process owners.
3. Identify key enhancements and ensure best practices are well adopted.
4. Collaborate with other streams to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency.
5. Participate and/or lead in design sessions, demos, prototype sessions, testing, and training workshops with business users.
6. Guide the development team to develop, configure, and implement the solution to meet business requirements.

PROFILE

• 6+ years of experience in SD module with a good understanding of Supply Chain modules.
• Strong configuration experience, with the ability to determine when to use configuration versus code, as well as advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on existing solutions.
• Ability to translate functional specifications into technical design documents, provide estimates, and deliver the desired functionality.
• Successful teamwork experience is required.
• Ability to adapt easily to a flexible & international environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across all organizational levels.
• Fluency in English & French with operational international exposure.
• The position is based in Paris La Défense and may require business trips.

EDUCATION

• Master’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• SAP Certification is appreciated.
