Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced SAP SD Business Process Owner (BPO) to support a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. The role focuses on designing and deploying global sales and distribution processes across Europe, based in Grenoble with 2–3 days on site per week.

The candidate will drive process ownership for SAP SD, collaborate with stakeholders, and support workshops, testing, and go-live activities as part of a large-scale implementation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP SD experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD processes and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience in global or multi-country SAP transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive SAP SD business processes across the global S/4HANA programme.
• Support the definition, harmonisation and rollout of global template processes across multiple European countries.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams and local country teams to understand requirements and adoption.
• Provide guidance across order-to-cash, sales orders, pricing, deliveries, billing and customer master data.
• Support workshops, solution design, testing, deployment, cutover and go-live activities.
• Act as a key link between the business and SAP implementation teams ensuring alignment with global objectives.

Job description

I’m currently working with a global leader in the manufacturing sector who are delivering a major global SAP S/4HANA transformation programme, with multiple deployments planned across Europe.

They are now looking for an experienced SAP SD Business Process Owner (BPO) to support the programme and help drive the design and deployment of global sales and distribution processes across the organisation.

Role:

Location:

Grenoble, France – 2/3 days per week – also monthly travel to other EU sites

Duration:

12 months with extension- freelance

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the SAP SD business processes across the global S/4HANA programme.
• Support the definition, harmonisation and rollout of global template processes across multiple European countries.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams and local country teams to understand requirements and ensure successful adoption.
• Provide guidance across key SAP SD processes, including order-to-cash, sales orders, pricing, deliveries, billing and customer master data.
• Support workshops, solution design, testing, deployment, cutover and go-live activities.
• Act as a key link between the business and SAP implementation teams, ensuring solutions align with global business objectives.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of SAP SD experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD business processes and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience working within global or multi-country SAP transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience would be highly beneficial.
