Overview

Senior SAP Functional Consultant with expertise in SAP IS-Oil and Production Sharing Accounting (PSA) to join a strategic deployment team for a long-term global project. This role focuses on delivering upstream finance solutions within the SAP PSA module, supporting the client's Polaris program. The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy SAP PSA capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Document functional design specifications for customizations in SAP PSA.
• Provide expertise on SAP PSA best practices and end-to-end process design.
• Build and unit test SAP PSA solutions within the broader SAP Finance (Record to Report) and Polaris framework.
• Collaborate with testing, data, and change management teams to ensure solution readiness.
• Align with the client's Workstream Lead and Release Management on Program Increment (PI) planning.
• Prepare and manage User Stories and pre-work for all in-scope PI features.
• Identify risks, co-engineering opportunities, and coordinate with SAP product support.
• Support issue resolution across functional and development teams.
• Assist with cutover planning and deployment for Release 1 and Release 2.
• Provide hypercare support and escalate issues as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP MM-C or SAP IS-Oil projects, with a strong focus on PSA.
• Proven experience in upstream finance processes and SAP PSA module.
• Ability to document functional designs and lead solution testing.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English (required for communication with global teams).
• Availability for occasional travel (up to 20%) for workshops and go-lives.
