About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Functional Consultant to support a leading pharmaceutical company through a critical S / 4HANA upgrade project. This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity ideal for a seasoned consultant with deep functional expertise in SAP PP and hands-on experience in S / 4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide functional expertise in SAP PP to support the S / 4HANA upgrade initiative.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and design solutions.
• Support system configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and validation requirements.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams as needed.

Required Skills & Experience :

• 8+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP PP Functional Consultant.
• Proven experience with S / 4HANA upgrades or implementations.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers), MRP, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning.
• Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with SAP QM or SAP WM integration.
• Familiarity with CSV (Computer System Validation) processes in pharma.
• Prior experience in Agile / Scrum project environments.
