Queen Square Recruitment is seeking an SAP Manager to lead and govern the enterprise-wide SAP roadmap across functional domains and regions. This strategic, customer-side role consolidates SAP demand and aligns S/4 initiatives with shared resources, release windows, and landscape capacity.

Based in a remote work setting with occasional international travel, you will create a single trusted roadmap that maximizes SAP investments and informs executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years' experience in SAP program management, PMO, portfolio management, or enterprise transformation.
• Experience in facilitating executive governance and prioritization.
• Bachelor's degree in IS/CS/Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.

My client is driving a major global SAP S/4HANA transformation, and we are seeking a SAP Manager to lead and govern the enterprise-wide SAP roadmap across all functional domains and regions. This is a strategic, customer-side role responsible for consolidating SAP demand, managing interdependencies, and ensuring alignment between the S/4 program and all other SAP initiatives competing for shared resources, release windows, and landscape capacity.

Sitting within the SAP S/4HANA Program- but operating with a broader enterprise scope—you will create a single, trusted roadmap that maximizes the value of SAP investments and supports informed, executive-level decision-making.

What You Will Do

1. Consolidate & Qualify SAP Demand

• Maintain a unified, enterprise-wide view of all SAP initiatives: programs, projects, enhancements.
• Qualify each initiative against criteria such as regulatory need, functional impact, geography, business value, effort, and stakeholder priority.
• Ensure roadmap data remains complete and current through ongoing engagement with Program teams, VP IS Business Solutions, SAP Domain Leads, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain a comprehensive dependency register (architectural, functional, technical, financial, resource).
• Detect timeline conflicts, capacity overloads, and collisions with the S/4 Program schedule.
• Assess impacts, propose mitigation or resequencing options, and elevate critical risks when needed.
• Challenge and rank incoming demand based on value, risk, dependencies, and capacity.
• Prepare and facilitate arbitration with Program Directors, VP IS Business Solutions, Domain Leads, and business stakeholders.
• Present decision-ready options with clear trade-offs and consequences of deferral to SAP governance bodies.

4. Report & Communicate

• Maintain executive dashboards covering roadmap status, priorities, dependencies, risks, and milestones.
• Publish and socialize the SAP Integrated Roadmap as the shared reference for Business and IS.
• Communicate decisions and roadmap changes in partnership with Program Directors and Change Management teams.

Roadmap Governance

• Define, run, and continuously improve the roadmap intake, qualification, arbitration, and change-control processes.
• Ensure roadmap integrity: no SAP initiative progresses outside the governed roadmap, and all decisions are documented.

What You Bring

• 6-10+ years' experience in SAP program management, PMO, portfolio management, or enterprise transformation.
• Strong understanding of SAP landscapes, especially SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven experience managing complex project portfolios and cross-functional dependencies in global organizations.
• Experience facilitating executive governance and prioritization.
• Bachelor's degree in IS, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's/MBA preferred.
