Jobtailor in France seeks an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead SAP projects across the full lifecycle, including BUILD, deployment and transformation.

You will define commitments, track budget, quality, timelines and risks; establish governance through COPIL/COPRO, and coordinate multi-site teams (onshore/nearshore/offshore) to ensure RUN excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree from a business school.
• Minimum 5 years in SAP project management, ideally on S/4HANA in IT services.
• Experience managing medium-sized projects and RUN activities.
• Strong knowledge of SAP solutions and PM methodologies (Agile).
• SAP Activate and Signavio certifications are a plus.
• Understanding of business processes and information system challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to switch between French and English in real time.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership: Manage SAP projects (BUILD, deployment, transformation) across the full project lifecycle
• Define and track project commitments: budget, quality, timelines, risks
• Establish project governance and lead project committees (Steering Committees — COPIL, COPRO)
• Oversee maintenance and enhancement activities for SAP solutions
• Optimize RUN processes to ensure operational continuity and client satisfaction
• Identify and resolve critical incidents while proposing improvements to reduce risk
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (functional consultants, technical consultants, partners)
• Operate in multi-site environments (onshore / nearshore / offshore)
• Lead scoping phases and facilitate business workshops
• Challenge and validate functional and/or technical decisions

Qualifications

• Degree from a business school
• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in SAP project management, ideally on S/4HANA, within IT services companies
• Experience managing medium-sized projects and supervising RUN activities
• Strong knowledge of SAP solutions and project management methodologies (Agile and others)
• SAP Activate and Signavio certifications would be a plus
• Understanding of business processes and information systems challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to switch between French and English in real time and in a professional manner
