Xcede in Paris is seeking a Senior SAP Architect to act as technical and operational liaison on transformation projects, shaping the SAP landscape across on-premise and cloud. You will drive the technical transformation and oversee architectures through the full lifecycle.

You will coordinate cross-functional and partner teams, manage high-value SAP migrations and upgrades, define scope, test plans and ensure delivery quality.

We are working with a Global organisation, helping to source someone who will act as technical and operational liaison on all transformation projects and play a key role in the technical transformation of the company's SAP landscape.

You will be involved across the entire lifecycle of technical architectures, combining technical expertise, project management and team support.

Your responsibilities will focus on:

SAP technical architecture & advanced expertise

• Design, define and evolve SAP technical architectures (on-premise and cloud)
• Ensure consistency of the SAP landscape in a hybrid, continuously evolving environment
• Contribute to key technology choices, factoring in SAP innovations and legacy management

Management of high value-added SAP projects

• Take charge of managing major technical projects, including:
• Migrations
• Solution-to-solution switchovers
• Define scope, organize activities, structure test plans and manage execution
• Coordinate functional and technical teams, integrators and partners
• Ensure deadlines, quality standards and communication are maintained throughout the project
• Provide strong technical support to team members and help structure best practices, acting as an operational reference in direct support of the ERP Technology manager
• Support the skills development of junior profiles on technical and methodological subjects
• Help prepare for future team growth — the role is designed to evolve toward managerial responsibilities as the team expands
• Actively contribute to structuring frameworks, methods and standards to support future management of the area

Profile

With a Master's-level degree (Bac+5) in computer science/IS, you have a minimum of 5–8 years' experience on large-scale SAP projects, combining technical architecture and project management.

• Solid knowledge of SAP architectures, ideally recent solutions (S/4HANA, RISE, BTP)
• Proven experience across several project types: version upgrades, migrations, technical transformations
• Ability to structure a project, organize activities and manage key phases (testing, qualification, etc.)
• Ability to coordinate effectively with functional and technical teams
• Broad perspective and ability to anticipate developments in the ERP field
• An interest in mentoring and supporting junior team members
