Mistral AI in Paris is seeking a Research Software Engineer for the Sandboxes team to design, build, and operate the platform that runs isolated environments for untrusted code at massive scale. You will work across distributed systems and low-level virtualization, bridging research needs with production readiness.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate the sandboxing platform that runs untrusted code at scale across Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop the sandbox runtime with Firecracker for fast startup and efficient scheduling.
• Optimize performance and latency for millions of concurrent sandboxes.
• Write robust systems code in Rust and Python, and maintain CI/CD and observability.
• Collaborate with researchers and ML engineers to turn needs into platform features.
