As a Sales Team Manager, you will be responsible for the overall sales team, operations, strategy and results of our Molecular & Biological Research (MBR) and Cell Analysis Sales and Applications (CASA) solutions in France. These solutions include genomics, pathology, cell instrumentation & analysis, imaging solutions, flow cytometry, microscopy, reagents, services and software

In this role, you will supervise all sales activities including planning forecasts, developing policies, implementing and/or developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, designing specific programs to achieve business objectives, and staffing & training the sales force.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Manage, develop and accompany your sales team with a hands-on approach on the field to drive sales objectives
• Contribute to portfolio strategy development on your geography, leveraging your experience and market knowledge to advise recommendations
• Translate strategic priorities into functional action plans that balance short-term and long-term strategic goals
• Implement major projects and initiatives
• Consider cross-functional visits to top customers in assigned territory.
• Monitor market trends, adapt current programs to evolving trends, and recommend new strategies and activities to keep current

For this role, you will be working and can be based anywhere in France, where you will travel across the country (a company car will be available to you).

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with the following background:

University degree in a Life Science field, ideally in Biology or close
Significant experience leading and managing sales teams
Good knowledge of molecular and/or cellular biology solutions such as: genomics, pathology, cell instrumentation & analysis, imaging solutions, flow cytometry and/or microscopy
Full proficiency in both French and English

On a personal level, you are a natural and empathetic leader, a real strategic thinker, and always customer focused. By sharing your vision, you are able to inspire your team to perform. You have great interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills to interact and work with cross functional teams. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning and organizational skills.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
