What type of breed are we looking for?

We are looking for a Sales Support Officer for the specialty and grocery clients. You will be the first point of contact for your clients, manage the customer relationship, and ensure the increase of turnover. You will be responsible for ensuring a good application of the business review negotiated at a national level.

Your role will also consist of seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. You will use your communication skills to identify and address clients’ needs while representing our company positively. Ultimately, you will contribute to building profitable, long-term relationships with our clients to reach our business objectives. If you enjoy coming up with effective solutions and working toward achieving goals, this job is right for you.

What will be in your bowl?

• The position combines Field Sales Support and KAM Support responsibilities, with each making up 50% of the role. It falls under the responsibility of the Sales Manager, who will oversee both aspects of the position.
• Field Sales Support – Responsible for developing and managing the Field Sales bonus strategy, including the design of quarterly KPI objectives in collaboration with the Sales Manager and Field Managers. Regularly monitor and analyze performance against these KPIs throughout each quarter. Also in charge of creating and overseeing field sales challenges to drive motivation and performance, all in alignment with the company’s short- and long-term priorities.
• Promotional strategy, execution & coordination – Define and analyze the promotional strategy in collaboration with clients and promo managers, including response to folders and alignment with customer highlights. Ensure smooth communication and follow-up between the office team and the field sales team regarding all promotional activities, while maintaining strong direct relationships with clients and key promotional stakeholders across grocery and specialty channels.
• Different projects directly linked to the Field Sales team and/or the promotion management.

What skills & tricks should you bring?

• You have experience succeeding in field sales.
• You are comfortable with data and can use Microsoft Office.
• You have excellent (verbal and written) communication skills.
• You have leadership skills and are comfortable taking decisions.
• You have good time-management skills with a problem-solving and “can do” attitude.
• You are able to communicate in English with foreigners.
• You have an excellent team spirit.
