Scope
• Reports to Sales Manager France
• Manage the sales of small & medium customers of the French Domestic Area for Tube (plastic and laminate), for a turnover of 2M€
• Develop New customers
• Assist KAM and SAM with ad-hoc admin tasks relating to existing business
Based in Gennevilliers HQ, sedentary position with occasional visit to customers and/or plants
Main activities
1-Manage the sales of small & medium customers of the French Domestic Area (approx.100 customers; annual Turnover 2M€).
2-Develop and win new deals with prospects / customers
Missions are:
o Act as first point of contact for new leads.
o Closely follow-up project activities with New Product Development teams and pro-actively identify cost deviation
o Ensure all new projects/quotes are entered into Winforce – training will be provided.
o Communicate pricing and product details clearly.
o Arrange sample dispatch and share existing technical documentation.
o Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their requirements and provide timely and efficient responses to their queries.
o Manage customer price list and share latest version with customer services
o Ensure new customer accounts are set up promptly and credit checks completed by finance.
o Co-ordinate with KAM and SAM to create customised sales plans that will target new and prospective customers for the French sales area
o Monitor and report on the status of sales leads. Prepare meeting minutes and distribute as appropriate (prospection pipeline database)
o Carry out store checks every quarter - training will be provided.
o Ensure special trials, artworks or development are properly quoted and PO’s received to avoid invoicing issues or delayed payment following project start.
o Liaise closely with customer service teams to ensure best in class customer service
o Be available to attend sales training as and when required (locations in France, and occasionally within Europe).
3-Assist KAM and SAM with ad-hoc admin tasks relating to existing business.
Missions are:
o Track and update with each KAM the sales pipeline through Winforce
o Update customer price list with KAM and SAM and share latest version with customer services
o Arrange sample dispatch
o Co-ordinate with KAMs meetings preparation (coordinate service & quality KPI across the plant, extract sales figures, marketing portfolio:
o Enter RM actions into WF for the sales team
o Freely share knowledge, insight, best practice, tactics, and innovative ideas to develop workable strategies for sales generation.
Accountability including KPIs
• Guarantee to maintain and grow the business, reach sales performance target on both volume and profitability
• Guarantee a good sales service, continuously improve customer satisfaction
• Guarantee that Albea key performance factors, such as profit, working capital, overdue, etc. are maintained and improved
• Lead the RFQ process with all the appropriate internal stakeholders (Pricing, development teams and plants) and with the support of the Sales Manager
• Closely follow-up project activities with New Product Development teams and pro-actively identify cost deviation
• Bring support to the Sales Team and track the sales pipeline proactively with the Team.
Degree: Bachelor's Degree or above and/ or at least 12 months experience in FMCG environment.
Experience / Know-how: Knowledge of Microsoft Office package with particular focus on Excel, Powerpoint.
