Description du poste

As Sales Support Assistant France you will assist the commercial team in managing the customer administration, covering the full product range. Handle price offers, sample requests and price queries related to the French market. Support general sales and administration activities and liaise with different departments within the company to support the sales team in achieving their goals. You will have regular internal contacts with sales and marketing directors, customer service and the quality and regulatory departments, external contacts with suppliers / subcontractors, and written contacts with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Write quotations in accordance with company policies and within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain an excellent administration of price offers, contracts and manage these in a proactive manner.
  • Manage and address price queries and invoice litigations linked to pricing in a timely manner
  • Manage consignment contracts.
  • Support the Sales team in managing packs requests and changes to existing packs.
  • Organize mailings to customers when required.
  • Manage sample requests : manage stock levels, organize sample shipments when needed.
  • Manage the move or placement of equipment when required (shipping / return / demo / exchanges).
  • Screen and respond timely to tender opportunities. Ensure all requirements are met in terms of documentation requested.
  • Support colleagues in other teams to execute their tasks when required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business administration, economics or foreign languages.
  • Native French + proficient level of English language.
  • Min. 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Advanced system skills, experience in an ERP system and Sales Force is an advantage.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Advanced level of analytical skills.
  • High degree of professionalism in situations, excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, effective time management, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Strong problems solving skills with high energy and adaptability
  • Knowledge of the ophthalmic industry or the medical device industry is an asset.
