The ideal candidate has a Bac+3 level education and experience in a similar role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel are essential. This role allows for a hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days remote work per week.

JOB MISSION:

As a sales planner, your role will be to identify trends, opportunities, and risks related to the order books of different performance-driven customers—especially European key accounts. You will also aim to guide business development by identifying various opportunities.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Support performance sales teams in decision-making through data analysis and sharing.
  • Manage sales planning for key European accounts such as Decathlon or Intersport.
  • Ensure order intake requirements are met through the creation of tools and excellent internal communication.
  • Participate in constructing seasonal forecasts supported by sales teams.
  • Serve as a key contact for European accounts to ensure proper transformation of order books and pass on critical information to merchandising teams.
  • Update and share sell-out information to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Propose business development opportunities.
  • Monitor the growth of European key accounts in support of sales teams.
  • Consolidate sales forecasts, aligning with subsidiary objectives.
  • Support order book conversion, monitoring order availability and reservations.
  • Engage in regular discussions with European account teams to report future product needs.
  • Build, update, and share sell-out information for key accounts.
  • Identify restocking opportunities and risks of overstock, analyze sales trends.
  • Monitor end-of-series, recycling orders, and cancellations to optimize stock rotation.
  • Follow up on the long-term financial plan for European accounts, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing training on available tools to sales teams.
  • Support decision-making through data analysis, maintain customer databases, and collaborate with EMEA departments as needed.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
  • Minimum Bac+3 level with relevant experience in a similar role or retail environment (Purchasing, Merchandising, Sales Analyst, etc.).
  • Experience in the sport and/or fashion industry is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Position based in Paris, with a minimum of 3 days remote work per week.
