Idemia recherche un Sales Manager spécialiste de la sécurité routière pour renforcer sa stratégie de vente en Europe. Le candidat idéal a plus de 10 ans d'expérience en ventes, avec un accent sur les contrats publics, et doit faire preuve d'excellentes compétences en négociation et en communication. Vous serez chargé de développer des relations solides avec les agences gouvernementales et de mener des projets d'acquisition de clients.

Qualifications

  • 10+ ans d'expérience en ventes, idéalement avec des autorités gouvernementales en sécurité publique.
  • Capacité à gérer des cycles de vente complexes, y compris des appels d'offres gouvernementaux.
  • Maîtrise du français et bonne compétence en anglais.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for executing the Road Safety sales strategy in Europe and across French-speaking countries in the World. Your mission is to drive growth, build strong relationships, and position IDEMIA as a key partner for government agencies and stakeholders in road safety.

This role brings new business for IDEMIA through customer acquisition and product launch.

Key Missions

  • Builds a strong knowledge of the eco-system in the respective scope
  • Defines a go to market strategy
  • Prospects and builds an opportunity pipeline through active monitoring of legislation, budgets and call for tenders
  • Uses 'green field' strategy based on own network, LinkedIn or events
  • Observes an existing account sales manager for advanced offers
  • Conducts commercial pitch
  • Analyzes competition environment to define a pricing strategy
  • Acts as business expert and a reference for a product line in support of the account managers
  • Coordinates internal customers to ensure deal feasibility and obtains necessary validation (technical offer and commercial offer)
  • Handles tailored offer submission and iteration
  • Closes deals and coordinating implementation
  • Transfers customer relationship to account management team
  • Drives autonomously any deal
  • Leads technical and commercial offer elaboration
  • Influences budget and requirements of stakeholders
  • Defines and implements deal strategy while deliverables are approved by internal stakeholders (solution architect, pricing, sales management)
  • Coaches and advises entry or experienced business development managers on deal strategy
  • Acts as a product expert being a reference for a product line in support or the account managers or government sales
  • Pitches autonomously customers for all types of deals
  • Interacts with customer decision makers or C-Level for all types of deals
  • Owns responsibility for a regional or global scope
  • Influences product roadmap based on market and product knowledge

Profile & Other Information

What You Need to Succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with a strong background in Public Safety or Road Safety, ideally working with government authorities.
  • A Business or Engineering degree
  • Fluency in French and strong proficiency in English.
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles, including government tenders and public sector contracts.
  • A results-driven mindset with excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to different markets, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
